I can’t believe this blog has made it to its 1st year. I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue this blog, but I did and this is a milestone to celebrate. Happy 1st Birthday to Light Shine Brightly!
I remembered when I started this blog a year ago with much enthusiasm. I chose to debut it on Valentine’s day because I wanted to show my love to the world. My love came in the form of encouragement.
My goal for this blog was to encourage and inspire people to shine brightly. My vision was it only takes one person to make a difference and create change first in themselves, then among family and friends, and finally in the community. When I first began this blog, I dreamed of starting a revolution of inspiring others to shine brightly.
I tried to accomplish this by being open and vulnerable through my stories. I may not have reached as many people as I’d like, but reaching a few is enough for me to continue writing and being a light. I hope the few would radiate and start a movement. Maybe it’ll take a couple of years to see my vision, but for now, I will just keep on doing what I’ve been called to do and write.
Thank you for reading and supporting me to write! I hope you’ll look forward to future posts.

Angie, your goal to share light and love in the world is exactly what Christ calls us too. I’m so happy you continue to write and spread this. I too hope to impact others in the same way 😘☀️♥️
Thanks Nicole for the encouragement. Let’s continue to do what God called us to do and be the light in this world. Let your light shine so brightly!
Happy Birthday! haha
I hope you continue to use this platform to express your ideas and creative process. Reminds me of like throwing a rock into a water. The ripples start small but eventually increase. The more you’re blogging, the more of an audience you’ll build over time. Recently things look great! KEEP GOING! Looking forward to more this year!
Thanks for the encouragement. The ripple effect is what I’m aiming for. Yes, I plan to use this blog as a platform for doing good in this broken world.
